THE LEGEND ABOUT POLAND ORIGIN (ABOUT LECH, CZECH AND RUS)
Over thousand
years ago three brothers: Lech, Czech and Rus were wandering in
Middle European forests. One day they sank into the woods,
because they wanted to find something to eat.
Than happened, what gave Poland
its origin: Lech, Czech and Rus, tired and hungry, rested on the
glade. Suddenly Lech saw the eagle's nest on the wide oak. When
the brothers came to it, one of the eagle's nesting sat on the
Lech's shoulder. He loved it so much, and the beautiful sunset,
which just had a place, that he decided to stay there and
estabilish the country, which crest should be White Eagle on the
red sunset background. The second brother - Czech went into the
South direction and estabilished Czech Republik. Rus went into
the East direction and estabilished Russia.
